Hello and welcome back to my blog! You may be wondering why there is a post on a Tuesday, and that's okay! This post is for the benefit of only YOU. I will be explaining all the details of this conference for high school students and university students. This is such an amazing opportunity for you as a student to gain knowledge and interact face to face with professionals in the careers you want in the future!

This conference will be taking place in the Campus Activity Centre at Thompson Rivers University on March 28th. This conference will have the professionals shown in the image above, along with two more at the event that will talk about:

- Human Resources

- Finance

- Marketing

- Personal Branding

This is a free event for students so getting tickets now will ensure that you get to attend! The theme of the conference is The Role of Millennials and Generation Z in Business. There will be individual presentations by each speaker listed below:

- MANU GOSWAMI

(Canada's Top 20 Under 20 & Young Entrepreneur of the year)

- TAI TRAN

(Host, Zero to Infinity, Forbes 30 Under 30)

- INAYAT UR REHMAN

(Founder of Your Edu Connect, 30 Under 30 Nominee)

- MATTHEW BURNS

(Forbes HR Council)

- YASIR ALI KHAN

(MEd, Award winning public speaker)

- AMANDA HOBSON

(CFO and Vice-President of BCLC)

- VK LAKKINENI

(Best Selling Author, CEO, ROI Media Works)

After these individual presentations, there will be a panel discussion revolved around the theme of the conference and their individual specializations (either human resources, finance, marketing, or personal branding). The discussion is going to be 45 minutes long followed by 15 minutes of questions and answering face to face with these professionals.

This is such an exciting event and I'm glad I was contacted by Inayat Ur Rehman to help put this conference together and work Your Edu Connect's social media platforms. If you are a high school student or a university student I encourage you to check out their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/EduConnectCanada1/) and see if you'd want to go to this free conference. I will be volunteering at this event, so if you do go... I look forward to seeing you!
